DocSSage® is the Best Massage for Pain!

DocSSage® is a doctor developed, CORRECTIVE, massage technique that is specifically developed to effectively relieve muscular ailments such as neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee pain and more.

This revolutionary treatment was developed by a chiropractor with over 21 years of experience. He incorporated different techniques with the purpose of achieving the most efficient and effective powerful treatment.

DocSSage® uses the P.J.M.A. (Passive Joint and Muscle Activation) technique to ensure the proper movement and alignment of all the joints and muscles in the body,

DocSSage® Combines the Following Techniques:

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Points are localized spasms or knots in the muscle fibers that may cause pain in that area or refer it to other, more distant parts of the body. Trigger point therapy is the fastest and most efficient way to correct them.

Myofascial Release

Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds the muscles, bones, nerves, and organs of the body. Myofascial release is a gentle, manipulative treatment that releases the tension in the fascia and returns it to a healthy state.

Deep Tissue Massage

After the trigger points and the fascia are released, deep tissue massage is performed. This helps lengthen the muscle fibers in order to regain their proper structure and pain free function.

Passive ROM Stretches

Passive stretches are performed for you by your partner or DocSSage® therapist. This stretching technique improves your mobility and decreases the chances of scar tissue developing in the injured muscles. It is also beneficial for preventing arthritis developing in the joints.

Active ROM Stretches

To ensure long lasting relief and no relapses, we put together some basic stretches that you will perform by yourself, on a daily basis. They are simple, but very efficient in preventing the return of the symptoms and improving your overall flexibility and posture. They are only 5 to 15 minutes long.

Postural Exercises

Proper posture is extremely important for a pain free body and overall health. We will show you the correct posture positions for sitting, standing, walking and lifting. We will also demonstrate some easy exercises to help improve your core muscles and make it easier to maintain the proper posture.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

The main goal of DocSSage® therapy is correction of muscular imbalances and trigger points for the purpose of pain relief. It is not only about feeling good at the moment, but feeling good and healthy for the long term. It focuses on the specific knots or spasms that cause the pain and the limitation of movement in the corresponding joints.

Many patients have stated that they have received a lot of different massages in the past, but they have never experienced such a specific and corrective therapy as DocSSage®.

Most of the sessions take between 20 and 40 minutes depending on the type and extent of the injury. Considering that the main goal of the therapy is pain relief and muscle injury correction, any more than that could actually be detrimental.

The recommended therapy protocol will depend on the type of injury and how long has it been since it started. A simple strain can take as little as 2 to 4 sessions. A more complex, chronic, injury can take 6 to 12 sessions. However, you should always start seeing some relief after the first 2 or 3 sessions.

DocSSage® therapists are either licensed massage therapists or doctors of chiropractic. These professionals are very well versed in working on the muscular system already. They are certified in the specific protocol of DocSSage® once they go through a program of certification.

Some insurance companies cover DocSSage® if the treatment is performed by a licensed doctor of chiropractic. You can send us a copy of your insurance card and date of birth and we can check that  information for you prior to your appointment.

The first session, which includes a brief consultation, costs 120.00.

Consequent visits can cost between 60.00 and 90.00 depending on the number of sessions necessary for proper correction.

I woke up with a kink in my neck that was very painful and couldn't turn my head. I had my son in law use DocSSage® on me. It took 3 sessions and I was good as new. The stretches help a lot too.

I've gotten a lot of massages and although it feels good, none of them really got in there. DocSSage® taught us the exact spots to work on to really make a difference and stop the pain.

I love how specific this technique is. It really taught us how to work those knots out. And the more we got in there, the more knots we found. Feels like such a relief after you're done. I can breathe again.
